If Norwood is a fair barometer this game should be extremely close! :D

I expect Central to win well this weekend. Lairdy was very angry with the players after the game, so expect a strong response especially at home.

It will be interseting to see how the timing of the bye effects West Adelaide, they could either be chirping at the bit after a great victory over Norwood and come out firing, or the opposite effect could happen where they don't carry on the emotion and high spirit after a week off.

Central by 39pts.

I am hoping that home ground advantage and a fired up team get us a comfortable win.

Rest easy Thiele, I'm sure we'll be within 5 goals at the start.

The problem with that is our start is about 20min later than the opposition of late.....

if we start playing from the 1st bounce we will push the doggies. Good chance to pick up our second win for the season

Jason Davenport is playing for the power, could be a long day for the bloods

another one you will like is that, the crows dropped John Griffen so he will play and you lost Moran

A Westies player has been, jokingly, quoted as saying that given results of the past few weeks against Norwood, the Bloods should go in favourites for this one.

Will be at the game - taking my daughter to her first Doggies match. Another generation joins the throng.

Looks like Willetts will be rucking

If Centrals think they only have to turn up to collect the points,

The Bloods will win.

A danger game for the unbeaten dogs.

The AFL selections certainly work better for the Dogs in this game...

Moran and Davenport to the Crows and Power respectively is a blow for the Bloods as they have been two of their better players all year.

John Read said on 5AA tonight that while Jon Griffin was ommitted, he has severe tonsilitis and is not a certain starter with Centrals.

Brad Symes has been named in the 25 man squad (to be finalised Saturday morning after training) but I think he will drop out of that squad for the likes of a Shirley or Knights.

Prior to these selections, I had the Dogs winning by about 5 - 7 goals. Now a 10 goal margin isn't out of the question but I hope West put on a good show, have been impressed with some of what I have seen of them, particularly the first half against Sturt at Unley and the Norwood second half with the come from behind win.
