Always enjoy watching the Eagles play Sturt (well, almost always). Looks like they have a few injury worries from the weekends game as well.

I'd expect Daniel and Knights to be outs for this week.

Corbett has been b.o.g. the last two weeks and has earnt another chance. His attack on the contest would be valuable.

Anyone of Symmons, Geddes or Fitzgerald I'd like to see take the other spot.

McEntee might be an option to come in for Hill if they want to play Ken in the forward line again. McEntee could take the CHB position.

Is Geddes fit he came off a couple of times with injuries Saturday one noticeable time was with the arm he broke .
Corbett for me gets caught with the ball to often .
I would like to see Lane come back in but my money is he will be gone with the state u18's shortly.
Symmons was running on the wing saturday .
Fitzgerald was up forward again looks better in the forward line .
Rimmington must be on the cards as well for a recall .
Dawson must be the same as Rimmington .
All of the above would depend if they all survived the wraith of mark jeffries who was far from happy Saturday .

For me Knights may well be gone this week shirley will spend most of the year with us and double JJ is not getting a chance at west lakes.
If Knights goes back to west Lakes will the Pup or Vince come home ?

interestingly the blues by the premiership ladder have the best defence so far this season.......

Jacky and Petrenko may get rotated......

Knights will certainly get recalled imo.....

Shirley I reckon might get recalled....maybe!

if only Salter was available......another 6 weeks unfortunately.......or Passador...another 3 weeks....

but will Ron spring another surprise?....have to wait and see folks!!!!

should be another great game.....

Maybe up to 4 changes this week for the Eagles, Knights will go back to AFL, Shirley should go back to AFL, Daniel unlikely to come up, Hill has shown a bit but we may have a better big man option.
Corbett has to be first in line, Geddes has toughened up and deserves a recall, we may get Hentshell - if not McEntee and Staple are worthy of a spot.
We do not have a lot of pace to add to our squad which will be handy.
Passador is longer than 3 weeks (min 6) before he is ready to play league.

Without wanting to cause any instability at my own Club, my spies in Melbourne tell me that both of the CEO's involved in this match are highly regarded from an AFL perspective? Can anyone confirm that they are any good?

A good game with the Eagles up by a goal.

Speaking of crowds, we have set a few post 1996 match bests this season already:

4,489 in Round 1 - 2nd best crowd ever between Central and Eagles at Elizabeth, best is 5,710 in Round 23 1993.
2,641 in Round 3 - best post 1996 crowd between Eagles and Glenelg at Woodville, best since Round 4 1996 - 3,199.
3,343 in Round 6 - best post 1996 crowd between North and Eagles at Prospect, best since Round 24 1994 - 3,766.

I don't think there is too much cause for pessimism Jimmy, Sturt are still a very dangerous outfit on song.

I believe Hill from the Eagles is a bit sore and maybe an unlikely starter given the 6 day break.

Can't talk for Benson but Davies held in extremely high regard at Oval Ave, rejuvenating the place with a different perspective to his predecesor (who was very competent) and with knowledge in all facets of the club. Has the ability and strength to make the hard decision as well. Expect a much improved financial performance this year.
