Time to give credit where it's due.

Naturally I watched the ABC coverage of the game and was really impressed with the coverage. Neil Cross does a great job as front man and commentator and Michael Maney's commentary and player identification is excellent. I haven't been a big Brenton Phillips fan, but it was really good to hear the analysis from someone who knows football and coaching tactics as well as he does and most of what he had to say was interesting.

The camerawork is good and they seem to have reduced the bad habit of showing replays while the game has continued. The interstate and Under 18 coverage at half-time is interesting and well done.

The commentators complement the game instead of making themselves the centre of attention and overall it makes for a very enjoyable and entertaining production.

Well done, ABC.

But I actually think you make some good points. Was a good watch, and I reakon they do a bloody great job. Especially of the ANZAC Day game...

The ABCs coverage was very ordinary a few years ago, the camera work and reply work especially used to be horrific.
BUT I too have noticed in recent years that they have completely turned it around and its fantastic coverage now, second to none.
Congrats to all involved and keep up the great work!
