WOW.
Westies pushed the bays last week and then defeat the 'legs who were meant to be improvers this season.
Well done westies.

Thoroughly well deserved result for perserverance and endeavour.
Jericho off made a big difference, but to come back from 9.5 to 2.4 and get up so deep in the game - amazing.
Norwood, suffice to say, kicked themselves out of the match.

They said on TV and Radio that the winning goal was kicked with 5 seconds left.

As Bayman said last week if WA attack they would win this game
Today they had to attack after being down by 43 points 2-4 to 9-5 in the 2nd qtr

Hopefully now COLLINS gets this talented team to play attacking footy instead of that crap numbers behind the ball style

I think that was the straw that broke the camel's back. Very doubtful I'll be wasting my time watching Norwood .... at least until they sack Hill as Coach. Surely, he has to go.

Yes, well done West.

Smithy, we've been through all this before. How were Norwood going to be the big improver this year when we lost the one guy who kicked us into the finals in 2008?

Who replaced Taylor Walker to make us a better team?

How the hell did Norwood lose that? For Rowe (twice) and Vlatko to miss everything in the last 10 minutes from set shots...
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Spot on Snappy, it was definitely the right result today ... Norwood were only the better team for 1 quarter, and Westies wanted the ball more and showed far greater desperation all game.

Well done Bloods, was a lot to admire about the honesty of your performance.

good to see your going to support your team through thick & thin

now i'll apologise to dash61 & co because there is light at the end of the tunnel for west & they have improved & are capable of playing finals this year but they must ATTACK & not be OVER DEFENSIVE

I heard 2 names today that could replace hill (if he goes) james & bassett, does anyone know how close this is to the mark ?

well malwood although kicking 7 goals in the first term still failed to kick a big score & it is obvious to me that if you make it a contest against them they struggle to score & west beat them playing 3 & a bit quarters

bottom line
malwood as i said last week have been overated by all the so called experts & are a 4th-8th team

west showed persistence to come from 45 points down to win & are definately on the right track & they'll win a few more along the way

ps, happy to have collected a little of sportsbet today ;)

i'd say they lost it before then...with the breeze in the 3rd term norwood 1.6.12 west 3.2.20 ;) & to single those players you have am bays is not fair because players from both sides missed 'sitters'

So Norwood blew a 43 point lead today and next week face a Centrals side they lost after having a 36 point lead 10 minutes into the last quarter last time they met.
They don't keep me here because I'm gorgeous and 5'10

Bassett is involved with the coaching setup of the u/16's I think. But he is also still having a kick now and then.

Norwood are overrated too many overpaid AFL hacks in their team and with the Norwood blokes I stood next to today are anywhere near the mark they will also will be over the salary cap again.

Some players are still getting paid sums of cash whilst they are on their arse on the sidelines and also have no other income source because they get enough money out of the Norwood FC

Oh yeah. I've only been supporting Norwood for 44 years .... how dare I get annoyed after all these years?

It's not just Norwood, it's football in general. I just don't like the game any more .. as I said, this was the straw that broke the camel's back.

Glad I'm not there to see it.

Another loss from a seemingly strong position.
Last year saw Norwood draw with South after leading heavily and also lose to Centrals from a healthy lead.

Yeah it's very easy to blame the coach, but this is guy who has been in charge for two of club's worst performances in history.
By reports his addresses are far from inspirational and if the players are following his game plan, then it's failing against good and not so good sides.

Another lesson from Centrals coming up next week.
