Good to see the Dogs producing good underage results. Their 17s/19s teams had taken a beating for many years so it must be very welcoming signs for those in the underage coaching department.

Totally agree Scott...

With a few ageing stars in the Dogs league side, the expected exodus of players at years end means an emphasis on promoting youth from within is as strong and as important as ever for Centrals. I look forward to seeing these youngsters develop into future league stars for the club if not drafted into the AFL.

Norwoods under 16's look a mile ahead of the field. It feals so strange saying that about a junior team coming out of the parade. It has been a long time between drinks out there.

They, norwood are a good group - physically developed, very even. Sturt got closest , about 8 goals and they had a couple out and an 11 goal to nil run. Know they would enjoy another crack with a full team. We got thrashed by 15 goals. Mickey mouse comp with little meaning at this early stage.

Norwoods U15 side was a mile ahead of the field last year as well. Until the U15 GF...

They have looked a quality side since U13s though, no surprises to see them do well this year.
