retired again  He uses this word regularly.
He could have gone out with another headbutting report tomorrow. A real shame he has not been allowed to go out on his own terms.
Don't let the door hit you on the way out Sh!thouse......

Thats a shame, he looked good in the trial game I saw him and IMHO he's a class guy and a great players, still fantastic over those first 10 metres.
All the best Clive. :D

He was a player you liked to bag as an opposition supporter, but he was always dangerous and was capable of winning a game off his own boot. He did so against the Eagles on a couple of occasions.

His output since coming back to the SANFL hasn't been that good from memory? I think he was going to join North to play with hargraves but wanted to many $$.

Kicked 194 goals in 65 games since hes returned. 3 goals a game. Wouldnt be many others that have averaged that over the past 4 seasons. Given bloody good service considering there was a knee reconstruciton in there as well.

Pity he went out this way. Well done on a good career Mr. Enigma.

Maybe Clive's conscience got the better of him, & out of remorse, he retired rather than live with the guilt he belted Andrew McIntyre 150m off the ball...

I agree, great player to have some banter with, but a brilliant player to watch.

I reckon that's pretty fair service to Port after such a long time in the AFL system.

Very true PR - he looked like a sad slow pathetic old "has been" last week when he committed one of the most cowardly behind the play king hits on Macca. Talking to a former team mate of his at 1/4 time last wek who saw what Clive did, the team mate commented - "He should retire after that hit, he has lost it".

Good riddance to one of the most over rated, selfish, lazy and greedy ($$$) sniping players of the last decade or so.
