a question from leftfield presuming graham johncock has finished his mourning (all people take different times to get over losses of life) but seeing the crows won could he play for port this week given the fact that he hasn't played for a while ?

I doubt it, from what i hear he has had a good pre-season, and is re-focussed, which was his problem last year. I would think he would go straight in for Dangerfield.

Should be a great game - to win 2 in a row at Alberton would be great to see!

Go Tigers!

Bowling club for this one  ....not to long ago having the Legs and the Tigers in round 1 and 2 looked a 'soft' start to the year, not so now.

Might be 0-2 for the 'Pies when all is finished on Saturday arvo....

Hats off to Eichner for coming back from his horrific injury but it certainly seemed he'd lost some agility when I saw him play late last year. Maybe it's just form?

I dont think Eich's is out of favour at all. Port's strength is in our back half so it will be difficult for him to get back in.

Can understand he might become a bit disgruntled playing in the 2's, he is better than that and is not getting any younger. His game-style is not suited to playin reserves.

If I were him I too would be frustrated, however I think we might be a bit short down back against the Bays so he may come back in this week.

Port Magpies strength is down back.
Their weekness is forward at present.

Hopefully Brad Mercer can put himself up for selection to give us a bit more potency in attack.

Havn't seen much of Brad of late, i know he has some ability & its time for this young man to stand up.
Someone has to take charge down there & it would be great to see this fellow take that opportunity.
Some of these youngsters are afraid of hearing their own voice, Brad must demand the space he needs to lead into that means telling some of his team mates to get the f--k out of his way if they don't well going through them will have them second guessing next time! Timmy Evans didn't mind letting his team mates know where not to be, if they didn't listen he'd give them a clip around the ears.

Tough gig for the maggies this saturday!
Even though it is at home and they bays were not totally dazzling against sturt, you would think the bays should win this one.
Should be a physically tough match.Bays by 5 goals!
