in my travels this morning i heard a player has walked out of his club after a 'blue' with someone else at that club & he was going to be picked TONIGHT....his name is luke ??????? is there any truth in this or is it just a story going around ?

I had heard (and read on here somewhere) that Luke Saunders from Port Adelaide Magpies had made the decision to leave the club on the eve of their first game...

It was said to be for work and injury reasons but that may be a cover if he has had a blue with someone else at the club.

The boys on the 5RPH league Teams Show were discussing his "non selection" in Port's side last night and they suggested they though he was just missing due to injury or form...

I'd say it's a good chance that this is the "Luke" in question, but I could be wrong ???

If it is Luke Saunders then big deal he is about 28 years of age with about 10 games of league experience, no great loss IMO.

didn't GVW or GWV (sorry not sure which one) say this about a week ago in another thread? pretty sure I read it on this forum (we you get all your SANFL news up close and personal)

know of luke and if magpies luke - know for fact that he left the magpies due to niggling injuries and work - returning home to Victoria to his partner.

Cockshell probably turned up at the Parade on friday.....old habits die hard !
