Hopefully Andrew Lee can stay fit and make this list by years end, there's big wraps on him from people at Norwood.

I have issues with players like McGregor, White and Campbell being included in this list as they played the majority of teh year at their current clubs.

Massie I can understand barely played any games for Norwwod.

Mind you I susppose where do you join the line if you include MAssie in the list but not the other 3.

IMO.

Why can't they be one and the same thing?

Mills could be every chance of elevating up that list, and if Andy Lee lives up the form we believe he's capable of, then he could surprise a few (I haven't seen him yet, but sources suggest the kid can play)

Wayde Mills of Glenelg, and Matthew Payne of Sturt. Payne is meant to be every bit as good as his mate, the Magerey Medallist Luke Crane.

Interesting Luke Jericho has not been brought up.

Apologies to Gavin Hughes Mark Bradley & Jace Bode. They were very close to making the list.

Jericho could be a very interesting one UK ... Had some defensive deficiencies in his game, which some would argue won't change if they haven't been improved in 5 or so years at SANFL level - Others would say perhaps now he's settled and his footy future revolves around playing well at this level, he might address them?

Will be interesting to see how he goes this year that's for sure.

My only comment on the list is that delisted AFL players are notorious for not doing anything once they play only SANFL. Older ex AFL players more so than young.

Interesting that all chosen are ex AFL, players that have come to SA and made a real impact are all VFL players, Callinan, Allen, Alleway, Fisher etc. Some VFL players become soild players but how often is it from the next level down, I sturts case Crane from QAFL has been a very good get. Murray at Ports from the Riverina has also been very good. So to make a list is near impossible so hear goes.

1 Mcgregor

ummm just too hard and too many unknowns

You mean like Simon Feast, Ben Nelson, Jeremy Clayton, Glenn Kilpatrick, Ben Kane, Kieran McGuiness, Mark McKenzie, Gowans...I could go on.

Could go on about the many that haven't aswell. Feast Was mid 20's (still young), Clayton (still young), Gowans 20 or so. Maybe read my comment properly so you get it in context. I SAID OLDER EX AFL PLAYERS MORE SO THAN YOUNG.

One would think most if not all of the players listed in the top ten should turn out to be at least decent players this season.
Not all players previously from AFL lists turn out to be great pick ups,Travis Baird for south last year seemed to struggle at times last season and has since returned to Victoria.
The panthers have picked up a few young players from the VFL,Tasmanian football league and the NTFL.I will be very interested to see how they equip themselves in the SANFL this season.
The key point is they are young so their game should be on the up!
