Bryce Campbell, tough as nails, can win you a game off his own boot, as Red and Blue Blooded as I am and a future Captain, Magarey Medallist and multiple Premiership player!

If McGuiness plays as well as he did 2 years ago he's my pick

I for one applaud a Norwood supporter for starting a Norwood salary cap thread, well done Topsy.
I think we should ask Gerry at Toss of the Coin to answer, he seems to know all when it comes to player payments.

LOL Smaccer
Not sure Jericho should be on the list, he was already a Norwood player.

As too was Byrce, Gavin and Kieren
I think Keiren will bring some stability to Norwood's defence. We saw Vlatko, a usual forward, play down there late in the season and occassionally Trevor Hill threw Zorzi on the ball with good effect. At least in the instance of having McGuiness back, it gives a bit more flexibility down there as well as helping to cover for the retirement of Bowny.
I voted Lee for the unkown factor, could be a handy CHF in this comp...

LOL Very good points Phillip ... I can understand Gav and KMac being included as they've been away from the club I guess.
And who's Hill mate?

Don't call me Phillip smarty pants, I bloody hate it !!! (plus it is only with 1 "L")
I meant Lee, Andrew Lee as the recruit i voted for. Not Hill you're coach

LOL .. I thought ya meant Lee mate, but I was thrown a bit as my screen only shows the one (mine) vote for him.
It was a tough vote as I like all the lads on the list and all offer plenty, but due to a bit of vulnerability in the KP stakes I opted for him, as filling the shoes of Bowny and Walks is going to be a big ask.

As they were contracted to another club last year surely they're recruits to us this year?

It's funny that Dylan left Centrals when he did to end up not playing any footy with Norwood due to his back injury...
He played some good footy for the Dogs in the 2's before transferring to the Parade and I wonder whether he may be regretting the move with the door opening at Centrals for a back up ruckman to support Buckets Mackenzie.
While not many people rate him, I think he is a pretty good player. I saw a bit of him as a youngster and watched him perform well in some VFL games on TV for Frankston when he was over in Melbourne on St. Kilda's list. I hope he is recovering well from his back injury and can get out on the park in '09.

As someone said, if Kieran McGuiness can recapture his form of 2007, he will be very important to the Norwood defence. Unlucky not to have won Norwood's B&F.
However, my vote goes to Kris Massie who has shown great leadership qualities in the limited games he has played at Norwood. There is no doubting Norwood is a far better side when Massie is playing. If it were my choice alone, Kris Massie would be captain of Norwood in 2009.

Jack Juniper dominated for SHOCS last season. He's a big lad and should provide some handy scoring opportunities for the leggies this year (If they can get it down to him...

I doubt McGuiness can recapture his form of 2 years ago. It's hard for any player to miss a year of footy and step right back into it.
