Wont be Prospect, SANFL wont even give us a Twilight game when we request it let alone a night game.

I think my great-uncle shot those lights out during WW2, & was arrested as a juvenile for the offence- I beleieve it's in a Government Gazzette...

Someone said Unley !!!!!!
Just imagine the cloth cap brigade neighbors allowing night football when they dont want day football.
Why not try for Sunday morning football when they are all thumping their Gideons !
Anyway I thought Glenelg had approval.
Just one point though.....you need a crowd to make night football viable...so forget....do I have to name them ?
Adelaide Oval is the place to go as Port tried against the Redlegs and Sturt I think.

I meant to click Glenelg but hit Alberton by mistake. Imagine leaving your car in that area at night with an opposition sticker on the bumper

The Bay would be ideal early in the season when the weather hasn't cooled down too much.

Ive encountered more crime at the Bay than Ive ever encountered at Alberton.
I lived at the Bay for a year, never again.

Yeah, it's all the pissed idiots leaving the Holdy, the Jetty, the Grand, the Dublin etc etc...
This is one of the reasons certain councillors don't want the lights in. They also want a curfew for the pubs
in the Glenelg area too.....

Hey, I was a pissed idiot there a couple of weekends ago and didn't break into one car!

But yes, I used to live in Pier st, even before the nightlife was big down there and because its near the beach you'd get a lot of youths patrolling the area.
Shame as if you take out the crime I'd love to live down there.

It will probably be Thebby. Although the lights are already up, they're not actually at night game standard (only training standard, at 90 lux, playing standard i think is about 120, but a sparky can correct me there) and the SAAFL in conjunction with the council will be upgrading the lighting for night footy.

I think Richmond would be the best venue for night footy, its close to the city, has good all weather facilities, a good playing surface, hardly any neighbours to get over excited about light spillage, public transport and car parking is an issue, then again, so has Norwood Oval, although right on a bus route, car parking is a problem at times. I do enjoy night matches at Adelaide, but the SANFL has to give something back to the clubs, and Norwood and Richmond should enjoy the spoils.

I don't think the lights he smashed out have been replaced either

The next ground to get lights I reckon will either be Richmond or Glenelg, but I think Richmond will get them first.
