Trial Game Ambitions

What do you want to see from your side during the trial games?
I know there a while away but this will be a good chance to get some honest opinions before your team win all their trial games and you start talking premierships.
I'm not a believer of good trial game form automatically leads to league success, so as a Central supporter i want to see us start the season with no long term injuries, i want to see Ash Duncan, Justin Hardy and Earl Shaw get lots of game time in the league squad, as i think they might become valuable players as the season wears on.

I am hoping that with a few new people taking key roles they bond well into the remaining squad from 08 and better prepare themselves for this years assault. Good to see some youngsters such as Alex Carey, Jack Fosdike challenge themselves to gain the vacant goal sneak position of Bodey.
And as Hammers said, no injuries.

I want to see us kick more than 9 goals.

In all 3 trial games in total? ;)

Well for me its no injuries, and a good run for the new recruits to see what they can offer.

Same, yet at the same time, it's often the more established players coming off of off-season surgery, so it's probably important to get some decent K's in their legs too for the early rounds of the proper stuff.

Obviously it won't, but no injuries is something I'd wish for all clubs.

The lower ranked teams will be more focussed on winning and putting the best 21 on the paddock to send the message to supporters that 09 will be different.

The rest will probably use it to test a few combinations and see how new players handle match conditions and ensure their best 21 is ready to go for Round 1.
