Balaclava bandits rob bar

TWO men, one armed with a pistol or replica, robbed an Unley bar tonight.

The men were wearing balaclavas when they entered BarZaar, an Unley Rd bar and poker machine venue shortly before 9.50pm.
They stole cash from the till and escaped on foot.

I think Sturt are having a hard enough time as it is without this happening...

They have a few more to go to catch up to the Eagles Club on Port Road.

Geeez...hope the staff and customers got nothing worse than a bad fright.

Wouldn't the insurance cover any losses and damage?

I don't know that he was specifically working last night, I was more implying that I hope these offenders don't repeat in the same area putting my brother at risk. He used to work at a video store and has been held up a couple of times, not a good experience.

It's not good for the Sturt footy club though, let's hope that someone saw something and does use that Crimestopers number you spoke of.

It is alleged the perpetrators were seen leaving on foot wearing Norwood supporter gear.

I certainly dont, these bastards are targeting venues closer to my work almost by the day, when "dodgy" looking characters come in, i am edgy to say the least.
