Peter Rolfe who was named in the NT AFL(Q) squad will remain with the Panthers for 2009. Very good news for South.

Nathan Twoomey who left South for the Eagles seeks a return. Can Eagles fans advise if he got a league game in 2008. As I understand it, he is a contracted player to the Eagles.

Sentries have been posted to keep David Clarke away after his surprising visit to Noarlunga.

Thanks Spelly. I think I can recall CD saying that at one stage he went home to NSW to attend to some personnel matters. Did this affect his small number of appearances?

He was quite a visitor watching South towards the end of the playing season when out injured for North. Hardly would have thought he was scouting for jars for an upcoming game. We noticed him approach some of his former team mates who had little time for him. Looked like Steve Martin in Lonely Guy.

I just thinks it pays to be vigilant to keep bloodsuckers away.

He kept getting injured mate .In his last game he was very angry when he went off injured.
And why a tall forward would have come to the eagles 08 with all the others in front of him .

I would think a few of these $$$$$$ would be needed to get him back to south.

I thought he played at Nairne-Bremer in the Hills League toward the end of last season?

Twomey certainly did not work out with the Eagles. Whilst he looks the goods I dont think he has the hard nosed determination to be a good player at league level. I think the Eagles were disappointed that immediately after they arranged a job for him he pulled the pin as a player and he could not see a problem with that! Handy to have him in your top 30 but not pencilled in as a key.

Certainly did and is and seems like he has the tools to be a good player at SANFL level but I know the Nairne people were pretty hopeful that he was hanging around next year.
