When journalism stinks like rotting fish

Ben Hook continues to amaze me.

Not only do regular snippets from this site appear in his Sunday Mail articles, suggesting the boy knows how to apply the "copy and paste", and "believe anything you read" techniques, but surely his snippet in today's column about the alleged SA footballer sporting a shiner after being exposed by his missus for visiting another woman around the corner, when telling his missus he was out doing a pre-season run, is stuff we simply do not need to read about in the papers.

If Ben Hook wants to attempt to be a hard-hitting journo, perhaps he ought to put some names to his articles, or leave articles of this nature out entirely.

Poor form Hook and even poorer form the Sunday Mail allowing you editorial rights to MY paper.

I know what your answer is going to be TB, but how do you know for a fact that this little snippet in question was actually written by Mr Ben Hook ?

So you are reading the Sunday Mail then complaining about tabloid journalism  Why on earth would you buy the Sunday Mail if this sort of stuff bothers you?

Ben's the first to admit his column is some light hearted entertianment and not exactly mind breaking hard hitting journalism.
If you don't like it, don't read it, simple. Ben's doing the job he's paid to do.
I enjoy his articles, about the only 2 pages I bother reading in the Mail these days.
Keep up the good work Ben!
(And congtratulations on your great game on the weekend!)

I hope the people who are sanctimonious about something like this appearing in the paper aren't quick to post any rumours on this site.

How about in the CONFIDENTIAL section in today's paper, Ken McGregor being labelled as a "former footy player" despite signing with WWT
