Oval naming rights question.

What was first oval to have naming rights. Was it Elizabeth-NAP or Richmond- Broadrectum????

I believe that it was Elizabeth Oval to NAP Oval to Hamra Homes Oval.

If we were talking about AFL venues, Optus Oval aka Princes Park was the first - I think it was about 1995.

I think NAP had naming rights from 2002 until Hamra Homes took over.

Spot on...I don't begrudge the clubs for accepting the $$$ they are paid in securing naming rights sponsors to their home grounds, but the majority of supporters still call each ground by their original title, ie:
Glenelg
Alberton
Prospect
Noarlunga
Elizabeth
Woodville
Norwood
Richmond
Unley
