Do WWT have two shares in Football Park?

This is something that I have wondered if is the case or not and figured no doubt someone in here will know the answer!

Each SANFL Club owns a Share in Football Park or so I was told was the case anyway so I expect that is still the case.

So when Woodville merged with West Torrens, did the new club then retain each share in Football Park entitling them to ownership of two shares in Football Park and double revenue share as a result?

I do not believe so mate based on my shaky memory of a discussion at a SANFL dinner a fair while ago --- if I recall correctly the discussion the Woodville share lapsed and was shared between the remaining clubs.

Similarly, I have always wondered if one of the clubs can sell their share of if its tied up legally that it ultimately belongs to the SANFL competition.

I'm sure this has been said many times, each club gets 1/9th of a share of any SANFL profits.

When the merger was raised in 1990, the SANFL offered to 100% clear the West Torrens debt ($2-$3mil from memory please correct if wrong), In return the new club would get 1/9 from future dividends not 2/10.

The merger issues re the debts of both clubs at the time but more so WTFC were quite significant.
The 9 clubs of the SANFL have an equal share.

I believe The WT debt was between $900,000 and $1m. This was reduced considerably by selling the administration block which had fortuously been strata titled.
