2003ish, going purely off memory, I think he was close to being selected in the Team of the Year that year.

In actual fact, he was named on the Interchange in that team, in 2003. Coincedentally, Craig Parry was the ruckman in that team.

I recall also he has an American-Indian background, hence the nickname "The Chief"? I don't think he was small, a pretty big unit.

A small ruckman i think he was "only" about 195cm but had a great leap and was very mobile.

You are right on this one, perhaps he was a solid build, rather than tall. A Budget from Round 18 2004, has him at 193 cms, 93 kgs, and had played 34 matches and kicked 2 goals up to then. He was 25 then, so he would be 30 during the course of next season.

What is the point of using all that space to say this much?..

2 reasons,
the first, to add a little extra suspense
the second, to upset you

BAYMAN on the money again
The Chief is back
Was a spectacular player when he last played in the SANFL
With Parry rucking it means SA could have potency up forward with CHIEF/WARREN
Norwood had a chief with similar ability in the 80s ?
Anthony Chief Ippindo
He was brilliant on his day as well.

Good news.
Great player when he played with us and will be welcomed back.
he is a Big unit and is called "The Chief" as he he has Native American blood......he's a real nice genuine bloke too.
Will be great with him and Parry in the ruck.
