Which is fair enough  . I think the highest score was 14.1 and at the SA based training someone got 14.10.

1 shuttle = ~ 0.3 mls/kg/min VO2. 2.7 mls diffrence between the VO2max in Adelaide v Canberra, could the ~600 m diffence in altitude between Canberra and Adelaide account for this...

discuss....

Chris Hall won the DC beep with a 14.6

Young Slattery from Westies also did well with something like a 14.3

I am basing my info from the advertiser(which means i am probably wrong) :? . But i am sure that they said the winner at the national draft camp was 14.1 and the state based one was won with a 14.10.

Yes that is one way to set yourself up to be shot down in flames

I think Stopp did a 14.10 at state screening so the advertiser like usual is half right.

Thank you for information Ferret...you did not include the recent beep test result of another Eagle who scored a massive 4.6 on his beep test. First name is Glendi, cannot recall the surname.

For those Eagles fans interested, check out the link below from the AFL website.

Good little article on a youngster who is guarenteed to be a great AFL footballer.

I think i learnt something at school about this in PE.

this is all to do with the capacity of haemoglobin in the blood to carry ogygen to muscles/organs more efficiently.

the higher the altitude, the harder the haemoglobin has to work to supply oxygen to body parts.

Those acclimatised to higher altitudes have a more efficient haemoglobin in their blood, thus why Kenyans are so damn good at distance running.

Does any of that make sense or somewhat accurate? Did I pass? [-o<
