I have been informed that the adult entry to SANFL will be $10 in 2009.
Concession entry prices not changing and U18 still free admission.

Will make season tickets/home match tickets even better value.

I don't see why they shouldn't put it up it has been $9 for a while now. It is still very good value to watch the second best league for $10. My uncle come to the Norwood Vs Westies game a few weeks ago and couldn't bellieve it was only $9 admission he had the week before paid $15 to see a local game  . It should mean our gate takings will improve by about $1000 a game next year  .

I've always been amazed at how inexpensive the SANFL admission charge is. By comparison I looked at our local soccer club, Elgin City FC, Scottish League team and their ground holds 3,927...cost for one adult per game...£9...that's just under $20AU...kids are £5 = $11AU...family of four would be over $60AU just to get in the place.

I'd say SANFL is bloody good value and a $1 increase is nothing when you think by how much other stuff has increased in the last couple of years...fuel, food etc.

Regards
JAS

It has seemed to have gone up quickly after being stuck on $7 for years but its still the best value going around.

Went to the A3 Div finals and it was $6. Salisbury North oval (where Northern Jets are home). Nice setup.

Eagles fans with a season ticket will get admission to every minor round game and full adult membership for just $6.25 a game.

The way to support your club is to buy a memebrship and save yourself some $ - even if you miss a few games still ahead of the $10 gate price.

We aim to be around the cheapest in the league once again for membership packages for our supporters.

Sorry to go off on a tangent, but...

What I think is totally F-ed, is when I would go to HFL (Away games ie not at Heathfield) games to boundary umpire in the A grade and get charged $6 to get in minor round, then $8 in the finals as stated.

For the finals, you get an envelope of cash from Big O afterwards, but once taking out the entrace, it's bugger all.

Having had that rant, I was only doing the umpiring initially to help our club, but loved the fitness improvements, so kept going, but the cash was nice of a few beers afterwards - 1 less beer after a final :( !

Anyone who complains about the price of SANFL admission stinks.

It doesn't get 10% more exciting.
But $10 is not worth as much as it once was either.
It all evens out.
It's called inflation and I believe Australia is rife with it.
If it pi55e5 you off come join me in Japan.
Sushi costs the same now as it did when I first got here 7 years ago.
We don't have inflation here.
We don't have SANFL either.
We do have the internet though.
And we are having a little earth tremor right now as I am typing.
Like sitting on a waterbed.
Why do you always start a new line for every sentence?
I am struggling....
