I had to vote Centrals because I don't give a crap about any other team so I can only be disappointed in one team.

It is a toss up between North and Westies for me. At least we didn't go down the ladder this year  .

South didnt get the Wooden Spoon again this year yet we promised so much and delivered so little when it really counted, so yes I voted for my own club!

I'd just like to ask the person who voted for Norwood to explain the reason why, and just exactly what were you expecting of them in 2008.

Then again, someone voted for Sturt, so it's obvious people just can't put their personal biases aside.

North surely, but Norwood have been disappointing with an apparent lack of progress at times this year (and no it wasn't me who voted for the Legs).

North without much doubt, followed by West.

North. Promised so much, delivered so little. I also expected Westies to move up a couple of rungs on the ladder.

As I've just noticed, Smac has pretty well summed up my reasoning for doing this AH and that is, that I don't have any expectation from the other clubs, only my own.

I have seen some progress this year, more than perhaps any other year since 2005, but still see how far we have to go whilst enduring some ultra poor performances (admittedly most of which were early in the year) and losses (or draws) that just never should have been.

I wasn't expecting better from us this year, but I wasn't certainly hoping, and I'm disappointed because I want better from my club.

From a personal point of view, similarly to Smac, being a Doggies supporter I have to say Centrals because of inconsistant performances all year, not playing 4 quarters of footy.

From a neutral perspective, there is probably a case in point for each club, barring maybe Sturt and Glenelg.

I guess naturally you would say North after making the GF last year to missing the finals this year speaks for itself.

South did promise a lot early on under Jack but it all went down hill from there, to end in another dissapointing season.

Although showing some improvements, I'm sure Bloods fans are sick of their side finishing so low down the ladder, since '03.

Port has been rattled by injuries and perhaps a dissapointment would be their battle to maintain consistancy with an unsettled line up. no shame there.

Of course, Norwood are on the verge of playing finals for the first time in a while and apart from the 1 goal debacle against the Bays, have had their ups and downs.

Eagles fans would be frustrated more than dissapointed, knowing (and witnessing) what their side is capable of as proved in recent weeks, but it has been consistancy for them with their youngsters.

I think the winner would definatley have to be North Adelaide. With a few off field incidents npt helping, their on field performances have been dissapointing to back up a grand final making season the year before.

Sturt have disapointed me twice this year by beating us.

Hopefully that will all change on Saturday.

Port. For still being in the finals race in round 23.

IMO, North Adelaide has been the standout disappointment this season.

This week's game could be "Jars Last Stand" if my info is right. :o :o

Won't be much of a "Last stand" for Jars - more like a "sit down"! If my mail is right, a few players who had previously planned a big Sat. night prior to the change of game to sunday might still go ahead with those end of the season plans despite playing the next day.

So if Westies have a quiet Sat. night then they might well win against a team that has "given up" - certainly many have re playing for the coach!

It's actually the first time a Grand Finalist has missed the finals the following year since the Eagles in 1995.

From a Westies supporter

West, Norths & Souths all in a dead heat

After the ways Souths started the season really super and then the wheels fell right off, West dont look like getting of the bottom (draft & retirements to hurt soon), and Norths with retiremnets, injuries and half baked commitments at times disappointed as well
