On current form (I know it's only 2 weeks in) Dean Howard has been sensational for the Cocks, could be the suprise packet for 2006.

Most important - John Baird
Most match winning ability - Damien Cupido
Most consistent - Paul Thomas

Cupido looked pretty good yesterday, I reckon he'll have a big year. (unless winter at polar park gets to him later  )

Probably Baird or Cupido, don't want to say too much about McConnell atm, will wait for a couple more games...

Didn't help that Jars had a 32 year old on him!!
I still wonder if Jars is the full quid at times when it comes to coaching.

ROBBIE DEJONGH

Saw the sturt v norwood game on saturday.

Young Robbie is a big boy and kicked a few sausage rolls
on saturday and was the match winner.

The boy has not done a preseason due to an injury.

He may improve further.

HE was recommended to the club by former 70's strong
man Johnny Wynne.

He may be the most talented big man at the club since
David Pittman and Bill Wedding

As I don't count Thomas or Wilson as recruits (returning club players), keep an eye on O'Sullivan. If his age in the budget is correct (16), this kid has a big future. 8)

Reckon Neil Button may have something to say about that. And let's not forget Ugo or Neil Hein either.

Or a certain M. Primus (and his partner, Simon Eastaugh for that matter) ... Robbie certainly does appear to have a heap of natural ability and is definitely prepared to stand his ground ... If he develops to his potential the boy will be one hell of a player.

Whilst we're at the Parade, I know it's only early in the season but Nick Jackman has been fantastic in the 5 or 6 games I've seen of him thus far (inc trials)...

Jackman has been great for us, Cullpitt is a good fit for our side and what we needed. He has been good but should continue to improve.

jackman has been an awesome pickup for us and has been a very important part of our wins this season, De jongh may in fact be that extra key position player we have been looking for over the last couple of seasons :D and by the sounds of it Cupido is an excellent pick up for the panthers
