Danger game this. By no means approaching this one with any less worry or concern as I do about any other game we're about to play...

Eagles have shown that on their day, they can beat sides like the Dogs, and beat them well.
Is 2009 the year of the Tiger?

A must win game for the Eagles, as they all are from here on in. Anybody know if Powell is fit to play? Haven't heard why he missed the South game and he's not on the injury list. Assuming he's ok, could have the following inclusions: Powell, Paul Stewart and Salter. Fitzgerald would have to be pressing for selection as well after his reserves form. Knights or Vince could be smokies, both returning from injury with the Crows.

It's also a must win game for Glenelg, but for different reasons. Top spot and the opportunity to avoid Central in the Qualifying Final would be a big plus for Glenelg's premiership chances. Backwell would have to be doubtful?

Massive game for both clubs. I'm expecting a very physical encounter. Would think Salter, Vince and Knights are certain to return to afl duty as soon as fit. Mouse and Grima doubtful. Let's hope the bar on the southern side of the stand has stopped being used for storage and will be operational...

Is Petrenko injured at the moment? Or was he an emergency in the match gone for the Crows? Knights would be a huge in for us, he is the kind of play we need in the side at the moment, to compliment McKenzie, Powell and Jarrad. Treeby may start forward again, who knows, but he would be up against Passador, Grocke, and maybe Salter, Vince and McGregor.

Forgot about Petrenko. Yes, he should be an in as well provided the Crows don't decide to having him watch them from the stands again.

I think the eagles will get up in close one and keep their finals hopes alive.

Holden 78 and Mickyj, you will both be happy...Johnathon Lee has finally been included in the league squad.

He has been playing well in the reserves in recent weeks and deserves a chance....

Fitzgerald and Pavlich must be close to getting another game too after good recent form

Why is Jake Pavlich still playing twos? The times i have seen him he has blitzed the reserves and has played reasonably well when he has played league. He would do well to have a few games in the league side in a row for a bit of confidence.
