Ken Farmer Medal

Can Chambo get the ton this year (minor round)? 15 goals to go and Sturt play Port, South and Central. Chambo is averaging 5.2 per game so he needs to keep that up to kick goal no 100 vs Central in the last quarter at Elizabeth!

Who will be runner up to Chambo in the Ken Farmer medal? There are no less than 6 players with 40+ goals!

Hargreaves (PAMFC) 49
Walker (NFC) 45
Passador (WWTFC) 44
Grima (GFC) 43
McConnell (GFC) 42
Warren (SAFC) 41 (NB - SANFL website has credited South's B Walker with 41 goals   )

Looks like a real battle between McConnell and Grima for leading goalkicker at the Bays - any club would be happy to have two players kick 40+ goals in a year but 1 kicking 85 so far this year (Chambo) is pretty good too!
Steve Bradbury and Michael Milton. Aussie Legends.

think i would prefer the 2 40+ goal kickers to 1 kicking 80 + ....just a thought but would rather the 2 options come finals time as its easier to shut down 1 player than 2 :D

Except Jumbo Wonder, when you add in (Sturt's 2nd highest goal scorer) Perrie's 31 goals, he and Chambers have 116 to the Bay boy's 85. I think I'd rather the extra 31 goals

and throw in Gum and Crane with 20+ each this year...not bad, but yeah, 2 with 100+ id rather have, although the bays are doing just fine with their fwds too.

Its very exciting having any player get close to or top the ton, esp if they can do it twice in a row and its a player from your club ;) GO CHAMBO!!!
