Anyone have digital copies of SANFL games?

Was wondering if anyone records the ABC televised (or other) games digitally rather than on DVD or Video? Or has the gear to transfer them? If so perhaps we could get them uploaded as a bit torrent, or even spread around using a service like YouSendIt (for emailing large files - it's like a temporary web space you upload files too and invited persons can download it from there)?

Would be a massive benefit for all us overseas and interstate SANFL fans.

Cheers!

Sounds like a good idea to me given the ABC2 debacle and its impact on interstate fans.

Nup, its not legal, please direct any queries to the ABC if you wish to purchase a legal copy of any game.
Cheers.

PS I have seen some SANFL game in the past on a torrent site called diwana.org which does a lot of Aussie stuff.

Not strictly legal, but neither was taping songs off the radio when I was a kid, and the cops still haven't caught up with me for the 90 minute tape "Top Hits '83", recorded via state of the art equipment, a clock radio and a (separate) tape recorder! :-$ 8)

Just about every AFL game each round is available as a torrent, would be superb if something similar was about for SANFL.

Just checked, there's 8 games from 2007 up as a torrent but none from this year, sorry.

You could always buy the DVD from Pine Lodge. I think they cover most if not all SANFL games. Worthy cause too and purchasing dvd's is a good reward for their efforts.

Not if its an ABC-TV game, though - that would need to be organised direct through ABC.

Anyone know how far back the games you can order from the ABC go? And if they still can send games from the 90s do they come on DVD or VHS?
