First – Congratulations to North Adelaide but some positives in that we never gave up and did fight it out to the end. Looking for better results this weekend, although injuries last weekend to Passador and Rugulo aren’t helpful. A few who have had minor injuries should be available this week – check out the team lists released later today on the email service.

It has been a sad time at the club with the passing of long time volunteer and club stalwart Kevin Golding (aged 82). Kevin is a Life member of the club and was awarded a SANFL Merit Award for his commitment to football. A jack of all trades from timekeeper to ball steward to rooms manager Kevin was a very important member of our back room staff. Kevin battled illness over the past few years but did get to a couple of preseason trainings this year – he will be missed.

Good on you CD - you are about the only one of the heirarchy that sticks their head up to let us know what's going on. A few words and time frames for the injured players would be good. Players such as Lindsay, Floreani, Frewen, P & R Fiacchi, Williams and Angus would be a good start. There seems to be a section for injuries on the web site but it appears nobody is prepared to update it.

Lindsay, I believe isn't to far away from playing, I saw him last night. Don't know about the others.
Good membership numbers.

As mentioned above Peter Argent is now on board providing reports tomembers by the email service. Peter is also providing info on our website - his latest article re newcomer Todd Price is a good read.

An editted version follows:

Just 19 year of age, Paskeville footballer Todd Price had a tough initiation into the rigors of SANFL league football last Saturday.
After impressive trial form, especially against South Adelaide at Noarlunga where he kicked three goals, Price was selected to start on a half forward flank in his debut match, rotating through the centre with team co-vice captain mark Mark McKenzie.
Price and fellow first gamer Chris Stacey from Freeling showed enough potential to suggest they have the capacity to make a substantial career at SANFL level. Price finished the game with 11 possessions, seven kicks, four handballs, five marks and a hit out.
Also a noted cricketer, he was a member of the Yorke Peninsula cricket team which one their first title in 43 years, playing as a wicket-keeper batsman.
