have the top 3 teams imploded?

Postby Pseudo » Sat Aug 09, 2008 7:57 pm

I've always wanted to start up an implosion thread 8)

But seriously - the top three teams have now each lost their last match. When was the last time this was the case? (Cue spelly)

Whoever is in the finals this year, it is certainly looking like it should be great finals series, one of the best in quite a while, with it being quite tough to pick who will win the flag.

I think the Gowans imploded on Saturday, much to joy of the faithful at Prospect!

Ah yes, the Gowans boys. What two very good top three sides they are.

NB: I'm sure the real "faithful at Prospect" would be more concerned with what inspired one of their own wingmen to such comical heights with some spectators in the eastern pocket. :D

No, top 3 haven't imploded .. They are probably taking on more on the track and have been coming up against 3 or 4 sides below them fighting for their survival, whilst the top 3 are covered in that deprtment.

Premiership will still be won by Sturt, Glenelg or Central, too hard from the Elim.

I am dying to know what was said between the fans in the outer and a certain AFL listed North wingman ???

I saw some photos over on the Centrals forum and he did not look happy ???

Glenelg and Central. Yes!

Sturt! No!!

We are without Whiteman, Evans, Coady, Perrie and Fabian.

We are the real deal in '08. :)

Cheers smac.

Sheesh, those pictures suggest something rather untoward must have been directed at Lonie.

You reckon, I was standing right at the interchange fence in my role with LifeFM as boundary rider (for you Dutchy  ) and didn't see any interaction with the crowd whatsoever. All I witnessed was the frustrated Gowans twins getting bronx cheers whenever they came from the field. Interaction would involve Chris or James giving it back to the crowd, like the classic Lonie example. Sorry Brad, you're off the mark a bit there mate
