all very good people but really are they hall of fame material?

Sorry but it stinks of putting new people in for the sake of putting people in

Get me to do a list of the best 50 players of all time and I doubt any of them would be in it.

Now Keith Thomas can you tell us how you use to do those under ground handballs so they sat up for the runner

I bet that some of them will.

Here's some

M. Blight, R. Ebert, DN. Kerley, RB. Quinn, K.Farmer, RW. Hank, LH. Head, TN. Evans, M. Aish just to name a few.

Without wanting to sound rude (which no doubt I do) that set of inductees is embarrassing
It's time for all the members of the selection committee to do some research on football in this state prior to WW2.

Doug Thomas is an South Australian Football icon. I find it amusing that people think he is not a worthy inductee  .

Well done Doug on your induction to the hall of fame it was well deserved and certainly the people at West Adelaide are aware of what you have given the game. =D>

I wouldn't call Doug an SA Football Icon he certainly is a west Adelaide Icon. He is worthy of inclusion in the SA Hall of fame though, IMO.

Given the research LL has done on pre-war football (pre WWI) he is probably aware as anyone in this state that there are probably others who have made a countribution to SA Football as worthy as those who were inducted last night

Nigel Smart's contribution to the SANFL is exactly what? :-k
Very good AFL career granted, but does that constitute anything positive to the SANFL? :?

We had this argument last year Mr66.
It's the SA football hall of fame not the SANFL hall of fame.

Still think Smart's selection is a bit dodgy.

Congratulations to all.

From a personal point of view delighted to see Kingo inducted a favourite son of the WT Eagles and was great to see at Woodville the other night - a great kick for goal. A wondrful football writer too.

Doug Thomas is a legend of SA footy - a tough hard player - who we loved to hate! An amazing commitment to footy, in particular to Westies but also as a servant of the League.

Peter Woite, Nigel Smart & Keith Thomas still contributing in offical roles to footy in SA and have great records as players too

All worthy inductees.

Nah, even as a Glenelg supporter I think Justin McConnell needs to do more to get into the HOF...
