I'll pose this question in this thread as the other has been locked.
Is Glenelg 2008 heading the same way as Sturt 2007?
If one person does it, it's insanity. If millions do it, it's religion.

Writing was on the board after Sturt got close to them at Glenelg Oval, I got told I had no idea for calling it (or words to that effect). Looks like this little black duck knew a bit more than most after all!
Anyone else get on the Dogs at $5 during the week? :D

Wouldnt be writing any obituaries yet, still the only team to have beaten all finalists this year

from what I can take from the game, Dogs missed the opportunity for a huge win

Toughest I have seen the dogs this season, great to finally see it this season - was starting to wonder if we were going to bother this year.

Bays only did what we allowed them to do tonight, the opposite to our last clash at Elizabeth Oval.

Great to meet Tas and catch up with Jabber again.

Go for it Southee, for the year you guys have had I'd be getting my 2cents worth also.
I wouldn't call 7 goals a belting though, very comfortable though. The bays have a challenging time leading into the finals as
1- they will probably lose top spot and have to regain it.
2- they have the bye to think about their effort tonight.
3- they play 4 teams all competing for a finals berth.

No obituaries being written.....just marking the sympathy cards "Return to Sender"

What, you think I'm getting ahead of myself Dutchy? Don't understand why you seem to think I'm having a dig at your team. Maybe you're suffering the early stages of prefinalsnerviousis! What I said has nothing to do with me supporting Sturt, apart from stating the obvious that Glenelg will probably lose top spot and have to get it back. And they do have a challenging time leading into finals, so my point was that it will be a challenge for the club and interesting as to how they approach it and come out at the end of the minor round, it's surely going to be their biggest challenge all year to date.
I have no blinkers on concerning Sturt's run home.
