To have any chance of finals north need to win this game because the next two weeks after this game for north will be tough with central & glenelg. this will be a tough slog down noarlunga Roosters by 13pts.

Panthers will have some key players back in, Baird and probably Otten to name a few, the finals are pretty much out of reach for the Panthers, yet we can put some respectability back into our win loss ratio by winning as many of our remaining games as we can. No doubt with the finals being out of reach and players having to play for thier spots for next year I think that we will see a lift in form from South and I think that we are a good chance of winning this one at home this week. South by 28pts for me. :?

In his post match interview after last round ANJ strongly said words to the effect that "these 21 lads will get the chance again/no-one will be dropped". Today I read that North have likely inclusions returning from injury/illness. So whats does ANJ do? He was very gung ho about what his "boys had been through"wa wa wa .. the rumors... the innuendo... and how they were going to just remain honest to each other and keep tight. So how does he get around this statement??

A bit like his "line in the sand" comment from a fortnight ago re playing injured players which he hasn't stuck to - mind you he has been sprouting that line for 5 years but continues to pick injured or underdone players, who it appears are part of the chosen few at Prospect. You do have to wonder what his thinking is at times???

However it would be hard to leave Younie out of the best 21 given he only missed the last game with flu plus Gill is an out so that free's up one spot.

Care to re-visit that post based on the named line-ups? 3 big IN's for North and 2 big OUT's for South.

Smith to me looked horribly underdone in the twos last week, while he probably needs another game in the twos the absence of Gasser and dugga will sorely test our depth and size.
Parry is also carrying an injury and was far from his best last week.I'm looking forward to seeing the new breed of panther youngsters in action again.

I think South's OUTS are a bit too much for them to cover and with a couple on handy INS for the Roosters, I think the visitors will get the points down at the South Pole. North by 37 pts
