Grand tour of Centrals new facilities

Postby Big Phil » Thu Jul 24, 2008 12:13 pm

Hi All,

For those that are interested in getting a birds eye view of the latest upgrade to facilities down at Hamra Homes Oval, check out the video in the link provided below. Players Trent Goodrem and Chad O'Sullivan take you on a tour through the new gym facilities for the players, the new corporate box, the upgraded coaches box and the new lap pool for rehab and recovery sessions.

Here it is...

Great acting by the boys as well, they did a wonderful job don't you think... Check out Trent Goodrem rubbing his hands together all the time, I reckon he might be a tad nervous !!??

GO U DOGGIES...

Excellent facilities Phil, good for the doggies and the SANFL. Would reflect well for the entire comp if someday soon all 9 clubs could have similar facilities thereby attacting more quality players from around the country to clearly the second best comp outside the AFL particularly with 2 more teams expanding the ever greedy AFL. All the SANFL clubs need to step up to the level shown by the dogs to keep our great comp relevant.

Not sure how true it is but was told by Roger Girdham on the grand opening that the player facilities are better than that at the Kangaroos AFL club, so definatly should help attract recruits for future years.
Also a big thanks to the club for puting on a free bbq for everyone who attended the tour.

I understand Glenelg are looking at buiding new visitors rooms and turning the old rooms into our gym.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Surely your current gym would have to bigger than the away changerooms at Glenelg.

To give opposition supporters an idea of the size of the gym, is that it would be bigger than the away changerooms at Elizabeth by about a quarter of the size.

I would say the SANFL is the best comp outside the AFL, not 2nd best, who do you think is better outside the AFL?

Why would we supply that?

Seriously though, the SANFL spent a bucket of cash upgrading visitors rooms, including continuous hot water services - there should be no complaints of cold showers in the away rooms any more. At least until Kris Grant works out how to turn off the pilot lights...

I was lucky enough to spend a day in the corporate box for the game against West a few weeks back. I wish they had the video cameras around then, I would have been able to remember some of it that way...

Great facilities, the bar's been raised off the field this time by Centrals, I wish we had the money and space for that to happen at Blueland.

In light of recent activities i have some inside word that Centrals have developed a new logo for their corporate facilities.

What i like about it is that it's raunchy, but classy.

I actually like it mate, and for some strange reason, I feel like I've seen it somewhere before

You're not gonna give up trying to knock us though are you Queeny... If that's the case why don't you have the balls to have in your profile which side you support so I can appropriately reply with a slander of them in a non sterotypical manner
