SANFL Round 17 is Charity Round

Postby Wedgie » Wed Jul 23, 2008 10:38 am

You can help the SANFL raise money towards a Starlight Express Room in SA!

The SANFL’s 2008 Charity Round is this Saturday and will be raising funds for the Starlight Children’s Foundation.

The SANFL’s goal is to raise $10,000 towards bringing the magic of a Starlight Express Room to South Australia (the only state without one).

They are already half way there but need your support to reach their goal and help Starlight deliver smiles and laughter to seriously ill kids and their families. Simply click on the link above to make your donation.

Along with seeking donations online, on the day our Starlight volunteers will be at the four grounds giving people the opportunity to make a gold coin donation.

Thanks for your support and we hope to see you at the games on Saturday 26 July!

The Eagles had a charity round a few weeks ago when we donated to Ronald McDonald house. Some of our fans would say that we are a charity at the moment.

Some of us can not afford to give every week or so .Yes I sound like scrooge but I went through this with my work. At one stage 3 people were collecting once a week and didnt like no for an answer!!
