WEST ADELAIDE’S HAMISH HARTLETT WINS ROUND 16
COCA-COLA STAR SEARCH AWARD NOMINATION
Hamish Hartlett from the West Adelaide Football Club has been named the Round Sixteen Coca-Cola Star Search Award nominee.
Playing in his seventh League match, Hartlett was a key player for West Adelaide in their clash against Sturt at House Brothers Oval on Saturday.
After returning from the NAB AFL Under 18 National Championships, Hartlett has continued his great form and created an impact in West Adelaide’s past two matches. As a key player in the West Adelaide side, Hartlett contributed with 17 possessions and 1 goal in Saturday’s clash against Sturt. His excellent use of the ball and presence in the heart of play created numerous opportunities for the West Adelaide forward line.
Hartlett has progressed through WAFC underage and Reserves teams to make his League debut in Round 19 against South Adelaide in 2007. Hartlett is a SA Under 18 representative and recently has been honoured with Under 18 All Australian Team selection on the half forward flank.
Hartlett was recruited from the Edwardstown Football Club and is West Adelaide’s second Coca-Cola Star Search nominee for season 2008 along with fellow teammate, Aaron Fielke.
