it would be a laugh if paul thomas is found guilty tonight and end up winning the magery medal

imagine being suspended 3 times in a season and winning the fairest and best player of the season ...

The only thing Thommo might be found guilty of tonight is doing the dishes at home dinglinga...

I reckon his tribunal hearing is tomorrow night and although I've had a fair bit to say about the tribunal system of late, I would doubt that first of all he'll get suspended and second of all, I din't think he will poll enough 3 votes to have the most by Magarey's nights end.

A few interesting posts and discussion on a topic I set up earlier in the year, including my opinion of Thommos recent idiscretion. check this link out and you'll see what I mean...

Having seen the incident a few times now, thanks to the great work of the ABC cameraman stationed at Norwood Oval, I don't think Thomas has a case to answer.

Hmmm...I reakon Thomas could poll well, but I wouldn't have thought he could top the leaderboard following the final count...

Great to see that the Paul Thomas case was withdrawn, but heard that Kenrick Tyrell copped a 1 weel ban for his "strike" which I thought was a bit harsh... :-s

In answer to this topics original question...

No I don't think Thommo will poll enough votes to be the ineligable leader by the end of the night. He has missed 3 games of footy now so there is anywhere between 3 and 9 votes he will not get for certain. Personally, I think Chad O'Sullivan, James Gowans, Luke McCabe (earlier in the season) and maybe Matty Slade will take too many votes of each other, and therefore Paul, to see him get any more than 12 votes maybe :-k

I don't think a doggies player will win. The team has been inconsistant and no player has continually made our best players.

Agree that common sense prevailed on the Thomas report, I mentioned as much straight after the game ... Feel for big Kenny who unfortunately didn't fare so well.

As I said earlier, I didn't have the greatest view of his indiscretion, but he obviously must have connected given his previous record of never having been reported before.

Yep, he connected as he pleaded guilty.

Paul Thomas is leading the Advertiser player of the year award. They generally aren't to far away either they had Allen and Backwell right IIRC. The winner of the Advertiser award has came top 3 in the magarey most years i think. It's a job for Spelly maybe.

Think you will find it is Jade Sheedy leading that particular award mate.
