I wonder how many neutral supporters are going to Murray Bridge today ?
A game of SANFL footy there in this day and age....

For me to go today it would cost me about $50 to $80 depending on whether I eat+ drink etc

I go to several Sunday SANFL games but no way today.
I may have gone if my team NW was playing, but not a nuetral game
Nah Im staying home and watching the AFL games on TV

For those making a day out of it with family and friends, hope they enjoy the day
1 of these games a year must be the maximum
Neutrals like me want to see a game of footy , not neccessarily get caught up in a bush razzamatazz

It's one game, give Murray Bridge this game and let them enjoy it. Sure it would have been nice going to a game today but it's only one week, no big deal.

well i was going to go but when m80's told me that the viewing around the ground isn't on mounds/elevated i thought there was no point going if you couldn't see with people in front of you, yes it would cost a bit in petrol but who cares you can't take it with you oh c'mon mal you get in for $3.00 when you borrow my concession card

I reckon there would bucket loads of neutrals there today from all over the riverland/mallee/Lakes region...some that would have been to a SANFL game for years...great promotion by all involved...every club should be made to play one game a year in their regional zone

On any given Sunday Donny/Bayman/Mt79/Johhny/Ricky/Mal will go to a game
NorMALly you would average it out to about 4 of the 6 being at any game

Yeah might be a good promo for the county areas and peoples, but the neutrals have a rostered day off.

More country games needed next year.

North vs. Central at Port Pirie next year would be nice.

Ok, petrol may cost you $15 odd dollars more than this trip would last year, but if you can find another couple of people to carpool and share the cost, no problems.

Personally I enjoy the odd road trip and would have loved it if LifeFM got the allocation to do the Murray Bridge game (before you ask I do not know why no one broadcast the game, I have NO SAY in the allocation process).

John Nankivell & I had a great day trip to Berri last year and even yesterday it was a mini one with CK, John and myself heading from down south to Elizabeth... you end up talking footy for hours ... all good stuff.

Hell yeah. I reckon a couple of country games a year is a brilliant idea.

If it should happen that next season includes Easter weekend it would be awesome to see the Eagles play a home game at Moonta, that would stand a good chance of selling out if given the right promotion!

Cheer up mate, check out the same bill for a trip to Football Park to watch the Cows or the Smears! Most likely well over double and not even remotely the same atmosphere on offer!

I agree, and for those who complain about the costs involved to get there...well that's how it is for all country punters to get to the city to see AFL or SANFL each week. I didn't make the trip due to work commitments. Well done to the DB's for the trouncing, well done to Sturt and South for putting the game on and well done to Murray Bridge for hosting it.

I was really happy to go but it wasn't much of an advertisement for our league in the finish - dreadful standard game and a horrible second half from both teams.
