Ryan Ferguson - mark for the ages.

No exaggeration, but today I saw the greatest mark I've ever seen in a SANFL game.

It was one of those 'courageous' type marks, but at full speed, head on, with the flight of the ball.

Ryan Ferguson jumped into the oncoming pack and held the mark, before being smashed.

Credit to the Centrals crowd, who all applauded what they had just seen.

He took another one later, but the first was a mark to remember forever.

It was a cracker of a mark for sure and another superb performance by Ryan, a pity more of his team mates can't follow suit.

I thought it was the bravest and best mark I have seen ever.

I agree it was fantastic...

Would you compare it to the Nick reiwoldt mark against Sydney a few seasons back ?

Similar type of mark, but at a much faster pace and he seemed to dive forward into the oncoming pack.

To me it seemed far superior, as hard as that is to believe.

I've seen more high-flying marks, of course, but this was breathtaking.

Pleased that bulldog2004 in the game review thread also rates it as the most courageous mark he's ever seen and adds (correctly) that Ferguson was almost parallel to the ground when he took it.

I'll try to get the Pine Lodge DVD and get some vision on here if possible.

One of few parts of the game that I actually witnessed, I can't argue with your assessment of it.
