Both sides coming off big wins as underdogs, should be a great game!

This week at Alberton will be the proof of whether or not we've got the right headset for the rest of the year.
If ever the Eagles boys needed all Eagles fans to make the effort to get to the ground it is this coming week.
See you at the footy - c'mon the high flying Eagles

Well, the challenge this week is to recover from such a high - not have a hangover, so to speak.

And with the Eagles Gala Dinner that night and the bye coming up they'll be keen to put in another one like today.
Oh cripes, I just realised Im going to that and North play the following day, I could be ugly on the Sunday, what's new though!

Like CD said every Eagle fan should get out there and cheer the guys on.
Will be interesting to see who comes in to replace Colville .Will it be Daveron,Hall or Goldsworthy.
Will Lee's performance in the seconds get him a game in the league side.?
Gee its nice to go in to a game after a win

.
But above all the team must play the same way it did against Centrals being lead by guys like Rimmington, Treeby, Powell etc.
GO YOU MIGHTY HIGH FLYING EAGLES.

Both Clayton and Mieclejohn being injured will be a huge loss to us if they do not play. We do however have Batson and Biacsi to replace these guys if needed.
Another must win for us (most games are for the rest of the season) and i honestly can't remember the last time we won three games in a row

Mickyj - I don't think Hall or Daveron will come into consideration for Colville's spot as they will most probably be with Broadbent at the U18 state game in Vic.
I would push Petrenko up to the wing and bring in D. Redden on a HBF and choose either McEntee or Guiffreda for Broadbent's backpocket. Would like to get James Stewart in to the team even just for his kick offs after a behind but I think he is still underdone at this stage due to his long lay off, but he did play well in the reserves.

What a game this could turn out to be.
Both teams capable of greatness.
Both teams fighting for that 5th pozzie,
in the lead up to the time of the season that matters....

When I wrote that Ferret I didn't know the under 18's were still playing.
I agree bring D Redden in. Move Petrenko up onto the wing It would be a toss of a coin for the other spot.
But what do you we do if Passador is fit play him on a HFF perhaps.

I think that we still hve to play the other Vic side as well as the NSW/ACT side.

The hardest thing is juggling the team balance. I thought last year we were at our best up forward with Schwarze as FF, Salter as floating forward and Grocke as leading CHF. I'm guessing that was how it worked last Saturday. However, with Passador fit and playing the way he has, he must be in the side.
Can Passador play a role away from FF because it doesn't appear Schwarze can. Can they work together from the goal square?
Hentschel could also be a possibility for this game, but doubt the Crows will risk him.
Forced outs are Colville and Broadbent. Ins Redden and Passador.

Trent could be back according to the news .So who plays down back and who stays as a forward.

I'd say that Hentschel would be in the Reserves this week, besides, if we play him in the League, where would he go?
I think that both Passador and Schwarze should be in the goalsquare, gives two different targets - Pass leads while Schwarze marks in the goalsquare. Fitzgerald the crumber. Grocke I reckon should be somewhere in between CHF and Centre, that is, CHF a bit further up the ground. Gives a bit more space to the two full-forwards. Salter next to him on the half forward line.
Also with both no.6 and 11 up forward, which player would AhChee take if Port need him there? That's the one good thing about plenty of key forwards.
