35 to 40K in a GF played in June, not bad mate, not bad. Still a ong way to go and while I don't have much cred saying it's not just a 2 horse race as yet with the way my team played today, I think that some people can't help but get ahead of themselves sometimes !!??

Speaking of horses, they might need to get those clydesdales from Granite Island to help pull these ever increasing bandwagons going around town of late

35,187; 34,819 was at the 2000 GF and 39,135 at the 1999 GF.

You would be right with your comment bayman, because this is really a compliment to Centrals fans and their club - more neutrals will go along to it because they are sick of seeing them in there.

i would agree that there would be 40,000+ to the game. first time since 1974 that sturt and glenelg would have played in the gf.

Tell the SANFL to print the tickets now then, it would be great to get that sort of crowd to a GF so we might as well call the season to an end now and play the GF next week at AAMI

IF and it's a big IF, the Doggies don't get there act together cme finals time to be paying in the GF themselves, I reckon a Sturt v Glenelg grannie wouldn't be a bad game to go to as a neutral supporter

Long long way to go, anything can happen with injuries which the Bays have yet to receive. If it does happen 40 k but no way a sell out.

Anyway there are other sides in the mix still I reckon. Centrals for starters ( 2 losses in a row , big deal) and a smokey the Eagles.
