The way have played the last few weeks Thiele, I don't know, anything is possible...

When was the last time we lost 3 in a row, I can't remember - cue spelly...

One would hope the Dogs bounce back and maybe with a few new faces in the line up, they can start to return to the form we come to know and expect of Centrals sides. I wouldn't expect any huge pumping but at this stage, for mine, Centrals by 40 points !!??

Yeah but did you see the way the Dogs played today brod... ???

I did and it was a pitiful performance. We played crap against West down at Richmond earlier in the year and was not convincing in that game. I can see no valid reason, based on current form, why we would come out and pump the Bloods like I'm sure many people will predict just as they did with our game today, getting it terribly wrong.

While I think the Dogs will win, yes, it won't be all that convincing and like I said, think we will do enough to maybe win by 6 or 7 goal. We have a long long way to go mate, trust me, and I can not see a 20 or 30 goal turn around performance in a week with our side playing the way we did today. Westies will be competitive and I'm sure they'll be annoyed with how they played today.

From what I've seen the last 2 weeks, we've got no chance. Bloods by 10 (goals that is)!

And I wouldn't want to be Jason Mackenzie this week, acting captain, bound to be reported and suspended.

The Dogs are having a mid-season downer.

I would like to think an introduced mid-season virus.

A nervous game for us.

My Dog_ger prediction is for a Dogs win late in the last term by 2 points.

Goodluck Bloods...

If the game was at Richmond I would think that Westies would be a serious chance of winning it, yet Elizabeth is a much harder ground to play on and Central have a strong home ground advantage there. Westies will need to make several modifications to their game plan to win and I question whether they have enough in the tank to be able to do that, I am not convinced right at the moment that the players for West are fully grasping Andy Collins existing game plan. I think that Westies have to take a chance and start the game with Cupido at Full Forward and if they are going to play one really good quarter, make it the first one, so that they can then play defensively for the other three and try and grind out a win.

Still I think that the Doggies are a good chance of comming back stinging though and it may well be a 6 goal plus win to Central. :?

As an outside observer of this game .Surely the faithful will be at Elizabeth oval (the end to enders were missing Saturday) and just their voices of "you dogs".Will surely be enough to lift the dogs over the line. The dogs could not lose 3 in a row!!!!

Who would have thought people predicting a Westies win at Elizabeth or even a close game.Me I don't think so I would hate very much to be Westies this week!!!

It has been a long torturous three and a half years for the club, if Westies dont win this week they are a very good chance of getting a fourth year in a row Wooden Spoon, being a South Adelaide member I know only to well what that is like to see the club struggle year in and year out and not get any better.

Still, that is the story of the Central District Football Club through the 1970's and also into the 1980's. Central turned a lot of suffering and hard times around and proved that it can be done in the SANFL. So it will make it all the more Sweeter I suppose for Westies when their ship does finally come in and they get to be the side that gives out the beltings for a while!

This could be the case as the dogs biggest problem in the last few weeks is their starts. The bays blew them off the park kicking with the wind last week and the eagles did the same against the wind yesterday. The dogs need to be switched on from the start and really take advantage of the first quarter.
What i saw yesterday didnt convince me that the dogs are certaintys in this game, i think if west play as a well drilled team anything could happen. But in saying that if the dogs wake up to whats going on around them, they could blow westies off the oval.

My prediction Dogs by 5 goals or more( :prayer: )

Yes Westies dropped after they lost their last GF appearance and then raided by the AFL.

C'mon be realistic here Dog Boys

We have played every poor playing team back into form for 2 seasons.

Dogs easy and improving all match and will be back in form for the next week.

Not up for the 200km round trip so will go to the 19s at Richmond instead.

Not really a true supporter of the club then are ya bosvit...

I'd drive 200km round trips to watch my side play EVERY week, even playing the way they are at the moment

I guess the lucky thing for me is that I have a company car and don't have to pay for fuel !! 8) 8)
