Had some opportunities in the 1s and struggled... overtaken by others at the moment.

his opportunities will come long term with nelson getting on etc, there will be chances in the coming years. he is only young, 19 or 20, so plenty of time ahead of him. may get his chance this week.

i look forward to having him in the double blue for many years to come.

He would be a valued member of the North league side at the moment.

I actually think that it was probably a bit more than just wanting to get more time in the midfield at North, and maybe he wasn't happy there. Gotta say, I thought that he would've been a bit more dominant than what he has so far but that's only going on the words of North supporters and the North supporter at Unley that posed a question to Cubillo about his descision to move clubs, but that smacked of desperation anyway. As mentioned previously, he's been playing well in the 2's and will get his chance again.

Lets be serious he didnt leave to try get in the midfield more.

He wanted More Money and roosters wouldnt give him the money they wanted
thats one reason the roosters are in such a good state of the field. unlike sturt

He also wanted a commitment that he would play in the midfield, he thinks that will increase his chance of being drafted,

as mentioned by 'the joker' wasn't it the money as the main reason for leaving north ? now tongue in cheek i'll say that perhaps josh could see norths 'implosion' months ahead of anyone else

if North signed him early enough, he would have played for meal vouchers.
They left a small opening, Sturt took it.

I didnt say you werent, but his comment seemed to imply that 'Sturt' are not in a good state off the field when in fact its the complete opposite. I'm sure he is only joking as his posts are generally insightful and factful, but this one, if not a joke, was shocking.

You may be in a good state off the field but maybe its time to look what state your in on the field..

Doubt he would be on big money playing 2's and with sturt's financial situation. Maybe he just wanted out like a lot of other North players have over the years..

Hmmm. We're heading in the right direction financially (servicing debt with a good income stream), however, there are worrying signs off the field in a coupe of positions. Once these are adressed, things should improve on-field.
As I stated earlier, North erred in leaving a small window of opportunity, as Josh didn't want to leave- we can hardly complain when Sturt exploit that small window of opportunity.
In short, North supporters must accept that a certain individual stuffed this up completely, due to a lack of professionalism, & the quicker he moves on, the better.
