Thought the same with the 10,000 but it wasn't anywhere near the case last year late in the season with fantastic weather but it deserves 12000, no 15,000....do I hear 18,000, anyone with 18??
I'll be there anyway.

Im am absoultely spewing that North are playing at Alberton on the same day as its the only ground we play decent footy, if we were playing anyone else anywhere else I'd be at Glenelg Oval as this game IMHO is the biggest blockbuster we've had in a decade.
I hope it a fine day and I look forward to watching it when I get home from Alberton, may the best team win!

A Sunday timeslot for either match would have helped. ;)

If that had happened I'd go to neither out of principle alone!

Seriously though, I don't mind ever game being programmed for Saturday afternoon with the occasional BLOCKBUSTER being moved just like in 1989 when they moved the Fathers Day game.
If done correctly it can be a very effective marketing tool.
Luckily for the SANFL the figures this year will be disguised with 2 traditionaly bandwagon clubs performing well and we'll have the same shit but just on a different day. :?

Do you think that this is a good occasion for it to move the match?

Yes. If done right its a powerful and effective marketing tool.
If overused like it has been in the past its a complete waste of time.

Good luck to both - i'd love to go as a neutral supporter as the footy would be great standard after seeing Sturt today

I actually think if it is moved to Sunday 10,000 is a huge chance. Thinking about cd's post and what I saw of Sturt today, this match would promote itself. And should be promoted anyway.

an added blow to sturt is the availability of kurtze this week, as he has a UNI exam this saturday and he did not ask if he cud change it in time so he is more then likely to miss this week, with feast almost deffinately out and deluca a chance to not play, sturts rucks r in big trouble!
