I've done it before...

...I asked the question about the 8,000 crowd at the Bay on the holiday Monday, it fell just 289 short.

So, can we get 7,000 at Elizabeth this week? These two clubs haven't met this high up the ladder since Round 6 1996 when it was 1 vs 2. Only 3,274 were at Elizabeth for that match, however, with Glenelg fans stating that fans are coming out of nowhere, combined with the 7,711 last match, I think that 7,000 can be attained.

Does the Glenelg/Central game have a better chance of getting 10,000 than Port/Richmond has of getting 30,000? :-k
If one person does it, it's insanity. If millions do it, it's religion.

Serious question - I saw a (mini) bus at the Parade when Glenelg played Nwd - are the Bays organising a fleet of coaches to get people to Elizabeth and back? Might help boost the crowd a bit more as well.

Port vs Richmond at Footy Park shouldn't affect the crowd too much.

The way Port are playing they'll be lucky to get 10,000 to the game.

The last time a Central/Glenelg game drew more than 7,000 people in a minor round match was in Round 15 1988 when 8,709 was at Football Park.

I wouldnt be too sure about this.
Surely there would be Glenelg supporters who also support Richmond due to similar club colours, guernsey and emblem.
With Richmond only visiting Adelaide once or twice a year, those fans may head to footy park.
