Nup, year before, we remain the only away team to win under lights there.
I assume (and hope) the ABC will be covering the game at Elizabeth as I'd tape that and watch it when I get home for sure, should be a ripper! Be interesting to see if Glenelg's form is unaffected by the large ground.
I think that will be the real test for the Bays Wedgie, the larger expanses of Elizabeth Oval. Many posters, including myself, are of the opinion that Glenelg might nt be suited to the bigger grounds but I'll guess we'll know come 5pm next Saturday.
Yes, the game is being covered on the telly by the ABC, only the Doggies 2nd TV game I think, behind the Anzac Day clash against your mob Wedgie. I think this game is certainly going to be a cracker and I can't wait. Everyone keeps talking about it being a huge challenge for Mark Mickan's boys coming out to Hamra Homes Oval and performing, but IMHO, I reckon the bigger challenge is on Centrals to really find the form they are capable of as shown against Port Adelaide @ Alberton a few weeks back. That was clearly our best performance of the year to date and came after the very uninspired, lack lusture performance against the Bloods at Richmond the week before.
Now, I for one, am certainly hoping that as our last game, against South at home was very similar to that of the West win, I really hope the side that beat Port that day, comes out to play against the Tigers next Saturday. I honestly think that based on present form, the Bays deserve to go into this game as very slight favourites but all I know is that it is the most anticipated game I've looked forward to all year. I heard on the ABC coverage yesterday that Grima's knee is likely to keep him out of this game so that's 1 less tall forward our defenders have to worry about. There is also a slight chance that Brad Symes might line up for the Dogs in this game (possibly in the reserves though) after coming back from his ankle injury sustained playing for the Adelaide Crows. The other possible change to the Doggies line up could be the Power listed youngster Ryan Williams coming back into the side. He was a late withdrawal from the South game but still don't know what for, assume an injury of sorts.
Anyway, of course I'm going to tip my side, The
Doggies, but I'm not overly confident and think it will only be
