Who in your club rarely gets beaten ?

Postby woolpack » Wed Jun 11, 2008 10:54 pm

Every club has them, week in week out they take to the field and rarely get beaten, they may not star for their team vey often, but nearly always beat their opponents. For Glenelg I would put Cranston, Mules and Rudolph in that category, who rarely gets beaten at your at your club ?

Rocket Rooster on present form

Seriously - Allan week in week out.
More often than not you could add Alleway, Sporn and Younie to that list.

Yep they are the ones from North. Whilst Allan is a star Sporn was the first bloke i thought of when reading this question.

Nathan Brown for us and probably Ferguson as well but that is about it.

Going on the last season and a half, Chambo is an obvious candidate. Sheedy and Whiteman would be my two others...

If a player got beaten regularly at this level you would really have to question their selection!

The funny thing is some of the names mentioned are actually players who I never worry about playing because they don't seem to do much damage! I'd rather a player who regularly won their position and did damage themselves with the ball, as opposed to spending 120 minutes trying to stop one guy exclusively. They're the real matchwinners.
