Was Rimmington reported for his late and high elbow to Weatherald's face? A cheap shot IMHO.

He shouldn't get any. Another great display of Richard Williams v Sturt.
Failure is only the opportunity to begin again more intelligently.

Is there a club in the SANFL that does not have a grudge against Richard Williams.

Seems to be one that thinks being the umpire is the most important person on the field rather than being a person that facilitates the game

You would be surprised at the amount of people on here who thinks he is a good umpire, me included.

Ditto. Adds a bit of colour too. Sort of like Bowden in the cricket, except he ain't a mincer... *

Doesn't mind getting yelled at either - actually he loves it!

Always happy to see Williams in charge of Glenelg games. Mile in front of Rowston or Pfeiffer.

I concur other poster's thoughts on Richard Williams' umpiring standard. He will always make a clanger here or there but otherwise he controls the game within the rules.

Had to chuckle when someone yelled out 'You are a di*khead Williams' when he was standing at the other end of Unley oval to where the play was

 christ I sounded a bit like SP there :?

back on topic,

where and when did this said incident occur?

Eehh humm, Jimmy we played yesterday being Monday...you might want to fix that before some smart a$%# has a dip at you.

p.s. I wasn't having a whinge, purely an observation. I was with a North mate yesterday and even he admitted the umpiring was a disgrace, about on par with North's performance.

Back on topic - He got one game.

Umpiring was terrible Monday and in favour of North considering we kicked 7 goals from free kicks.

Yep, agreed with most hes easily the best umpire. The fact that Scharples got a game justifies his decision although personally I didnt think it was even worth a free kick let alone a game!!!
