My guesses:
Bays, West, Sturt, CD, South, Norwood, LPR all the same
North : David Tiller
Port: Mark Tylor

Nah, Port won't go for an ex Glenelg player
Actually, to be serious i think you're right there.
As for North, maybe Brenton Phillips??
Has Tiller coached at a senior level before?

not sure about norwood but that'll probably depend on their 2nd half of the year, mickyj & co want ronnie out

& why would you get rid off anj as when he took over he took over a bottom team & has had them in the finals ever since so surely considering where they were to where they are (forgetting todays effort) he's done a pretty good job, as for port the 2 names i hear & i presume it is pure speculation is scott hodges & martin leslie, i'll add coach 'pack of cards' has been stiff as they've had a lot of injuries & barring the central game they've had chances to win every other game

Let's not forget Jars got a team into a GF last season. If he's lost the support of players (and I have no idea if he has or hasn't) then that would be the only reason I could see him going.
How many years has he been at North now?

He has coached North for 5 years and had to be talked into this year (with some more $$$ thrown at him). Tiller would be the ideal replacement if we can't lure Ben Hart back.
Has he lost the players??? Did you see today's game??? There's the answer.

I know Dave Tiller as I had him as a juniors coach and found him to be a a U/17s coach has he confirmed that he is interested in a senior coaches position I always thought he was pretty happy to be a U/17s coach.
Can someone tell me why he left North 17s job for South 17s I presume it was closer to his work or home? I sure the roosters faithful would welcome him back at Prospect. Although I think Jars has done quite well would like to see him stay on for now has done a great rebuilding job at North deserves another seaso I think.

With all due respect what you heard is incorrect then.

Fair enough, I can only go by what I heard. Happy to be corrected.

Jars looked liked he had lost the players at the Glenelg game. No matter how good a coach you are if you've ;lost teh players far easier to git rid of a coach than 21 players. Doesn't make it right but unfortunately that is the way of the coaching caper.

Must admit I never considered Tiller but I would be very happy with his appointment.
I think a few North supporters overrate Brenton Phillips, yes he took Sturt to a flag but Sturt gradually got worse under him.
Jars was loved by 95% of the players in his first year, that's dropped every year and would probably be sitting at about 5% this year.

Let's make Wedgie and Nordberg the joint coaches. Good grief! Off the mat Roosters and on you go.

I like what you do Wedgie but to be honest, I am really tired of the anti-Jars sentiment on theRoost. I didn't see anyone sacking him when we made the GF last year. I also think the idea that coaches will always be popular amongst the players is problematic. All Rooster players should be able to take the good with the bad and work through it.

I think my anti-Jars sentiment is pretty irrelevent to the discussion, my answer was based purely on my conversations with players and player's families.

Welcome to the site mate, but if you don't like me calling it as it is then its not going to get any better on here than the Roost.
