I'm pretty sure that Norwood haven't lost at dogshit park since 1984. If it's raining were a huge chance. Sturt are due for a bad performance anyway.

Looking forward to it.
On form you'd have to say Sturt comfortably. Will we lose Bentley and Thompson though? Certainly not a match I'd be marking down yet, especially given the unpredictability of the Redlegs...
Will be pretty wierd watching Soccers lining up against the Double Blues. No doubt he'll put in a big effort.

If you read BigFooty and take credence of teh views of teh port mensa candidates on that site

it seems they wouldn't be upset if Pearce and Thurstans were dropped for Lower and Thomas....
However I think Thurstans has photos so he won't be dropped....

Reckon I heard on the news tonight that he's done a knee and will be out for 4 anyway. Geez, you'd think by the comments of many a talk back caller, that all of Port's woes stem from Danyle Pearce. These Power supporters are worse than Rooster's supporters
I'll happily accept Pearce back into the Sturt side. Sure he may be down on form but he has proven himself a class act and I have no doubt he'll find form again and then all the Swampy's will be singing his praises...

as some Sturt supporter said near me today when told of Toby's injury "What..... are you serious? That means he now has to play a few games with us"

Dunno what Pearce has been doing this year. He must have the second year blues (pun) but I still dunno exactly what that means. We'll happily take him back for a few weeks, but geez the only game I saw him play for the blues he was pretty ordinary (to be expected dropping the level and fitting in with teammates he has no idea how to play with).
Hopefully Sturt can replicate today's form and Norwood can replicate Saturday's form. Given that Norwood have had two extra days rest, and Sturt are coming off one game in 23 days, I think that should even things out so I can't see an advantage there.
Because we're a more even team across the board, I see us winning by 5 goals.

I'm sure Sturt can fit him into a back pocket in their Reserves.

I'm NOT sure about that! Have you seen how GOOD Sturt reserves are? Defeated the 2nd placed team by 6 goals today

I must be in the 0.01% who don't mind Thurstans. When I heard he might be on the market, I hoped Carlton picked him up. He didn't have much opposition in settling into a position in my Carlton team!!!!
Bring back Thurstans and Chaplin into the Sturt team (along with Pearce) and I think we'd be pretty formidable.

Yeah he's reasonable, but certainly not someone that can be absolutely depended upon. Had a good year last year but hasn't backed it up this year.

Norwood will challenge Sturt. They were excellent at Oval Avenue.
Please get to HBO on Sunday. Thank you!
Sturt by 34 points.

We have done well at Unley over the past few years and given our showing last week I am reasonably optimistic. Just hope we don't lose 2/3 AFL players this week.

Norwoods best 3 players last week were all AFL listed.
Not a promising sign...
