Lose this and North are three games behind the top three and simply looking at making up the numbers, win and they're one game behind Sturt and still challenging fo a top three spot. If I worked in the media I think I'd be dipping into my bag of cliches and headlining this as a "four point game" :D

Sturt should get Bentley and Thomson back. Herring has been in form in the 2's as has Deluca so no shortages of selection dramas. Even Farmer may be available. Should be a great match , with Norths top 3 chances on the line that may tip it in their favour. Sturt still not in good form.

I'm not so sure BP, there's a huge X factor here in that Sturt has had two weeks off.

No . I think North are now on the improve. Jars was talking about " new culture" at 3/4 time to the players , they sound like they have got together to sort a few things out. And Sturt are not playing well at all. I will be extremely happy to win by 7 goals , but not that confident.

I agree with Oct, getting toward mid-season and North need to remain in touch of the top three. Sturt got over Port in our last game by a handful of goals, and the same Port side got massacred by the Dogs the very next game. Then we have had two weeks off and there are many pushing for selection, so this week is sort of hard to predict.
Thompson looks as though he'll be lining up for us, now I think we have a percentage of over or close to 70% in games Thompson's played for us this year. Just another factor to throw into the mix.
I think Sturt should win by about 5 goals with the side we have for this game, but it has been a strange season so far, and with the long break and other factors, anything could happen.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

north will be better than what turned out last time we played them, i expect this to be a tough game and we'd have to be on our game to win. north will scare me this week and it will be close, the blues in a close one but i wouldnt be surprised if the rooters got up.

Not looking forward to this game.
Only thing worse than Sunday games is a Monday game and hate Unley.
Looks like weather is a lot better for Sat than Mon too.
And 2 crap games on Saturday not worth going to.
GRRRRRRR!

Wedgie, AKA The Happy Little Vegemite.

Cheer up mate. Monday at the home of football should see a great game of footy, a good crowd (providing the much heralded 'travelling' North support turns up in numbers) and an atmosphere to match.

As far as most people writing North off, including some of their own supporters...... Absolute rubbish I say. Sturt have been unconvincing in the last month or so and will need to be at the top of their game to knock the Roosters off.

I seem to recall much doom and gloom plus predictions of a ten goal loss leading up to the WWT game last round and we all know what happened there.

50/50 game and a chance for both sides to set up their top three chances.

I think its going to be a great game and will probably head there if the head isnt sore after Sunday nights festivities. Sturt have been unconvincing but on there day have the capacity to be unstoppable. Sturt by 2 goals

Sturt by 18 points.

If we do have Thompson and Bentley in the side that will make a huge difference. Having the bye then the state game shouldn't impact too much (particularly as virtually half our team played in the state game  ).

Holiday Monday, fine day, hopefully a crowd of at least 3,000 get out to watch it...

I think the club will be disappointed if there are not at least 3,500 at Unley on Monday. If most Sturt supporters are anything like myself they will be itching to see the boys in action after no club footy for over three weeks!
