Glenelg v Port rd 10

Postby MightyEagles » Sat May 31, 2008 6:23 pm

Can the Bays continue their winning ways or is there a light at the end of the tram for Port?

shouldn't be tunnell instead of tram ? :? :?

if the bays don't take port lightly we will win easily & i'm sure that most of the players are still aware of timmys statement in a port v glenelg game last year "hit 'em & they'll fall like a pack of cards" when on the tv game last year & i can assure you that they wont fall like a pack of cards

Would have to agree

Bays by alot

Here's who'll be taking them on

Rugolo .. Hargraves .. Clinch
Lokan .. Thurgood .. Waterhouse
C.Carr .. Summerton .. Dolling
Perkins .. AhChee .. Depasquale
Lees .. Parry .. T.Carr
Meiklejohn .. Murray .. J.Clayton
I/C Hall, King, J.Taylor, Biasci
Out = Krakouer (playing at AAMI on Sunday)
But yes, it was a pretty pointless comment wasn't it?!

As a Bays fan, you really hope the momentum continues to roll on. Most blokes should be well rested, minus the state game reps in Kane and Mouse, as should Port's players...

If the run was going to end, PLEASE don't let it be against Port.

Hey Footy Fans,

Peterg mentioned above that Nathan Krakouer will be playing at AAMI stadium on Sunday meaning he is at least 1 forced change for the Maggies side this week who play Glenelg on Monday...

Although Krakouer will be a definate OUT from the Maggies side that last played againsts a rampaging Centrals outfit, a definate IN will be one player who will not be wearing the Power jumper and instead playing for the other Port team on the Queen's Birthday public holiday, JACOB SURJAN...

He was the unlucky player to be squeezed out of the Powers side, for Dom Cassisi, meaning Jacob will bolster Timmy Ginevar's side for the clash against the Bays. I must admit, I was a little suprised that Surjan was axed but I guess Paul Stewart played well enough last week against Freo to keep his spot, forcing Surjan out instead.

my statement doesn't mention words to the fact of the result is set in concrete, what it says is if their season isn't already over it'll be good to end it (or at the very least put another nail in the coffin) obviously you didn't read it clearly enough

not cocky at all, i think we are a good side but no better than anyone else, i think the reason we are top is we have (& i hope it continues) had very few injuries where as every other team bar sturt has had more than a fair share of injuries while sturt have had a few
