Can the Eagles revive the season or can the redlegs stay in the 5?

if we go back 4 years to when glenelg kicked 1 goal against norwood the very next week glenelg responded against (ironically) wwt & glenelg gave them a run for their money & lost by a goal or two, so i'd expect norwood to have the same sort of response but i can't see them kicking enough goals to win, the eagles in a close one
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

It was Sturt, 11.7 to 11.13, then the following week was the win. Glenelg won 4 out of 6 matches left in the 2004 season after the 1 goal match, including a 65 point win over Norwood, when the Advertiser credited Billy Neely with 46 possessions.

Wasn't me by the spelly  I told Bayman SA would kill VIC

So will my Eagles get back on the winning side of ledger this week.
And will they stop fading out after 3/4 time this week ?
Will all those Fullforwards work in the one team this week not to mention Twomey in the two's .

Will I get a gig in recruiting players to the club .

All this and more will be revealed next week

We don't ask for much at Norwood these days. Watch out for the frenzied ground invasion when we get our second goal.....or should that be if???

A team shouldn't have to make an extra effort for a milestone game of some sort - the extra effort should always be done. But, this week should he not get injured or otherwise it's the 100th game for Mark Passador.

Big game this week for a number of reasons. We need a win to bounce back in the top 5 and keep our finals chances alive and secondly Mark Passador's 100th game for the club. H would be one of the highest goalkickers in our club hitory if not the highest. (Cue Spellcheck to check that one) Passa has been a wonderful servant of our club and he deserves a big win to mark hs milestone. In the form he's in I wouldn't be surprsed if he kicked 10 that alone would be good enough to beat the ragged legs.

If he kicked 10 this week he will become the highest goalkicker. My records match up with the clubs', so he needs 8 goals to beat Scott Morphett (290 goals). The Football Budget has him on 282 goals, I have him on 283.

This is a pretty important game (as they all seem to be). If Norwood get a win, all that happened last week would be forgotten and they'd be clearly in the 5. If the Eagles win, we'd go back to thinking the Eagles might still be able to be the team they've been for most of this decade.

Eagles have McKenzie out, Norwood are missing Borlace, so both teams are missing key players.

The key is playing 4 quarters. What has usually been Norwood's weakness in their tussles with the Eagles in the last 5 years, has been the Eagles weakness in their last two games. I'm thinking it won't be pretty, but at this stage either team would love the 2 points and the team most desperate will deserve the 5th spot on the ladder that is up for grabs.

Once again the Eagles will have to make a number of changes. Coleville has broken down again and Symmons has done a major hamstring. From our last game Paul Stewart will probably be with power and I am sure McGregor will get a go with Adelaide. We are scratching to find 4 good replacements and any that give us something in the midfield. Those likely include Zac Hier and McEntee in defence and Malinovski will probably get a game without showing too much in the seconds.
